1. Who we are
ShelfShot ("we", "us") is a trading name of [Your full legal name], a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Contact: [your contact email].
2. Our reseller: Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy, you buy from Paddle, and Paddle's buyer terms also apply.
3. What ShelfShot does
ShelfShot is software. The free tool removes the background from your product photo and places it on a pure white background sized for online marketplaces. The paid scene pack is produced automatically by our software: three images composed from your cut-out and the text you enter (feature callouts, size reference, close-up), and three lifestyle scenes generated by AI around your real product cut-out. No person designs or edits your images.
4. Your photos and your rights
- You must own the photos you upload, or have permission to use them, including any brands, logos or designs that appear in them.
- Do not upload photos of people, or anything illegal, offensive, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- You keep all rights in your photos. You own the images ShelfShot creates for you and may use them commercially, including on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify and your own website.
5. Check before you publish
Automated and AI-generated images can contain mistakes, such as a missed edge, a changed colour or a scene that doesn't suit your product. You are responsible for checking every image matches your real product before you use it. Our compliance checks are guidance only: we don't guarantee that any marketplace will accept an image, and marketplaces change their rules.
6. Prices and payment
The free tool is free. The scene pack costs the price shown at checkout, per product. Paddle collects payment and any sales tax. We never see your card details.
7. Refunds
See our Refund Policy.
8. Fair use
To keep the service working for everyone, we limit automated or excessive use, including how many times a paid pack can be regenerated.
9. Liability
We provide ShelfShot with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase concerned, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost sales or a suspended listing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.
